Origin tackles the Mars Radiation Issue. How? Find out here.

When I wrote Origin, one of the big issues is the lack of a electromagnetic shield like the one that protects us on Earth.

Mars shield faded away around a billion years after it's formation. But this for me was key, I used this to explain a great deal about the Origin's of Vampires and also explained how human's coped with the radiation on a future colony on the red planet.

I will hold back a little as this is all explained in my Novel Origin, but you will not be disappointed.

Its a Mould breaking Vampire reboot that will explain the things no other vampire novel or story dares to touch. It does not shy away from the hard realities, nor does it try and explain Vampire abilities as some dark force of evil. Simply put, humans whether normal or vampires have a biological explanation in nature that is far more scary than some hocus-pocus elves or diamonds rubbish that readers have been forced to accept from some lazy writing in the past.

You will never view your children the same again.

Its Horror Sci Fi at it's best. Awesome premise that you will not be able to put down.

Authors- Feedback you must never ignore

Good morning all,

As a debut author and having recently published my first novel, I have found the most useful element is making contact with a reader or two and discussing your book with them.

This is I feel essentially important to improve your work. And certainly better than going for a direct professional review. I am not knocking a professional review, they are most important. But once a review has been done, if they have picked up on small errors it can damage your marketing.

A reader is impartial and I feel enjoys being able to give constructive feedback and helping an author.

So make a few friends on facebook who are readers not authors.

Do not use other authors, they are your competitors no matter how friendly they appear to be. A reader has no other axe to grind than wanting to enjoy your book.

Avoid things like Goodreads or Authonomy, 90% of the people on those sites are other authors wanting to promote themselves and their books. The feedback you are likely to get is going to disappoint. Stick with facebook, twitter and a blog.

I write this particular entry with one arm as usual, my surgery on my left arm has been done, I hope to be able to return to full blown writing in a month or two. I hope, depending on the titanium and the pain going away.

Here is a post I put on facebook

Why do Vampires fear the light? The answers in Origin, the mould breaking Novel as unique as Dracula. http://www.amazon.co.uk/ORIGIN-ebook/dp/B00CTS3ZX0/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1369772912&sr=1-1

Have a great weekend all.

This is an exciting horror/sci-fi cross that i couldnt put down as it was very different to the normal.
Its about police investigator jayne bregger whose lives in a city on mars under a dome. She has been wanting to transfer to earth for years but it never happens then just as she gets the all clear a crime wave of strange murders starts happening in her city. This all originates from a ship that crash lands on the surface of the planet which jayne and her colleague go and investigate and thats where the bizarre adventure begins.
This story is face paced and action packed and i couldnt put it down,id read it during the day whenever i could. The characters are amazingly written and make you believe that you are there on the adventure with them. Its well worth the five stars and will recommend buying it. Go get it

This is a fast paced story in the classic science fiction genre but with the addition of credible vampires with a real back story. It has horror, tragedy, love and courage and characters I would like to meet again. This is a very good read.
